The Word of God: We believe that the Bible, both the Old and New Testaments, are the inspired Word of God, and are the revelation of God to man. Further, we believe that the Word is infallible and is the authoritative rule of faith and conduct for all believers (2 Timothy 3:15-17; 1 Thess.2:13; Peter 1:21).

The Trinity (The Godhead): We believe that the one true God has revealed Himself as the eternally self-existent, self-revealed “I AM” and has further revealed Himself as embodying the reality of and the principles defining the character and nature of relationship and association of the Trinity as Father, Son, and Holy Ghost (Deuteronomy 6:4; Mark 12:29; Isaiah 43:10-11, 11; Matthew 28:19).

Jesus Christ: We believe Jesus Christ is God’s only begotten Son, that He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and that He was born of a virgin. We believe in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His substitutionary and atoning death on the cross, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.(Mt.1:20, 23; Luke 1:31-35; Heb. 7:26; 1 Peter 2;22; Acts 2:22; Acts 10:38; 1Cor. 15:3; 2 Cor. 15;4; Matt. 28:6; Luke 24:39; 1Cor. 15:4; Acts 1;9-11; Acts 2:33; Phil. 2;9-11; Heb. 1:3).

Man: We believe that man was created good and upright, for God said “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness,” but by voluntary transgression – disobedience, man fell and sin entered into the world. We believe that man’s only hope of redemption is in and through Jesus Christ, the Son of God (Genesis 1:26-31: 3:1-7; Romans 5:12-21).

Salvation: We believe that the grace of God, which brings salvation, has appeared to all men, through the preaching of repentance toward God and faith toward the Lord Jesus Christ. We believe that man is saved by the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Ghost, and, that being justified by grace through faith, man becomes an heir of God according to the hope of eternal life (Titus 2:11; Romans 10:13-15; Luke 23:47; Titus 3:5-7). The “inward” evidence to the believer of his salvation is the direct witness of the Spirit (Romans 8:16). The “outward” evidence of his salvation to all men is a life of righteousness and true holiness.

Baptism in the Holy Spirit: We believe in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, received subsequent to the new birth, with speaking in other tongues, as the Spirit gives the utterance. (Acts 2:4)

Divine Healing: We believe that Divine healing is an integral part of the gospel. We believe that deliverance from sickness is provided for in the atonement of Jesus’ death on the cross, and that it is the privilege of all believers. (Isaiah 53:4, 5, Matthew 8:16, 17, James 5:14-16)

The Ordinances of the Church:
a. Baptism in Water – We believe in the ordinance of baptism by immersion is commanded by the Scriptures. We believe that all who repent and believe on Christ as Saviour and Lord are to be baptized. In so doing, they declare to the world that they have died with Christ and that they also have been raised with Him to walk in newness of life. (Matthew 28:19, Mark 16:16, Acts 10:47, 48, Romans 6:4)

b. The Lord’s Supper– We believe that the Lord’s Supper, consisting of the elements of bread and the fruit f the vine, is a significant and symbolic expression of our sharing the divine nature of our Lord Jesus Christ (2 Peter 1:4 ), as well a memorial of his suffering and death (1 Corinthians 11:26 ), a prophecy of His second coming (1 Corinthians 11:26 ), and is enjoined on all believers to commemorate “till He come!”

The Church and its Mission: We believe that the Church is the Body of Christ, and is the habitation of God through the Spirit in His children, and as such is given divine appointments for the fulfillment of her Great Commission.
Each believer, born of the Spirit, is an integral part of the General Assembly and Church of the Firstborn, which are written in heaven. (Ephesians 1:22, 23, Ephesians 2:22, Hebrews 12:23)

Fivefold Ministry: We believe in the fivefold ministry of Apostles, Prophets, Pastors, Evangelists and Teachers; and that the foundation of the church is established in and through the ministry of Apostles and Prophets. We believe that these callings are the authority gifts of the church and that the saints might be edified and equipped for every good work through them. 1 Corinthians 12: 28; Ephesians 2:20, 4:11-13).

The Resurrection/The Blessed Hope: We believe in the resurrection of those who have fallen asleep in Christ and in their translation together with those who are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord is the imminent and blessed hope of the church. (1 Thessalonians 4:16, 17, Romans 8:23, Titus 2:13, 1 Corinthians 15:51, 52)

The Millennial Reign of Christ: We believe that the second coming of Christ includes the rapture of the saints, which is our blessed hope, followed by the visible return of Christ with His saints to reign on earth for one thousand years. (Zechariah 14:5, Matthew 24:27, Matthew 24:30, Revelation 1:7, Revelation 19:11-14, Revelation 20:1-6)

The Final Judgment: We believe that there will be a final judgment in which the wicked dead will be raised and judged according to their works. Whosoever is not found written in the Book of Life together with the devil and his angels, the beast and the false prophet, will be consigned to the everlasting punishment in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone, which is the second death. (Matthew 25:46, Mark 9:43-48, Revelation 19:20, Revelation 20:11-15, Revelation 21:8)

The New Heavens and the New Earth: “We, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth wherein dwelleth righteousness.” (2 Peter 3:13, Revelation 21, Revelation 22)
