Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. (Hebrews 13:8)

“For I am the Lord, I do not change…..,” (Malachi 3:6)

Six months ago when one of the pastor in the Philippines called to check whether we were coming or not. I said to him, "we are praying and planning to come, please pray for us that the Lord to help us to raise the funds we need for the trip."  A little while later after I talked to the pastor, the Lord said to me, " tell him you will come with the blessing of the Lord." as the Lord as has said six months later we went to the Philippines with blessing and favor of the Lord our God.

When we left the Philippines, the money we had was almost fifty percent less than the expected budget. But we went with what the Lord has provided us through His precious people knowing that he will do wonders with it. In that mission trip we have planned to do more than in the previous mission. In that year we had planned to conduct more crusades to reach the lost, medical mission, youth rally to reach young people with the good news of Jesus of Christ, and distribute shoes for 125 children as well as feeding children on a couple of islands.  Of course the leadership seminar to equipped and encourage leaders and Christian workers. Money for transportations, food, lugging, for the team, facility rentals, the list goes on.

Yet, We did not look at the greatness of the needs but the greatness of our God. To the one who is able to do more than we ask or think. To the God who fed five thousand people with five loaves of bread and two fish. (see John 6:1-14)

The Lord uses the boy’s lunch, which was not that much to feed- Five Thousand people; the women and children included over 20 thousand people. Philip, one of the disciples “Two hundred denarii worth of bread is not sufficient for them, that every one of them may have a little.” (John 6: 7)

Simply Philip was saying to the Lord Jesus it is impossible. the Bible says,

Mark 10:27 says, "With man this is impossible, but not with God. For all things are possible with God.” again Luke 1:37 says, “For nothing will be impossible with God.” We know that a little is much hand of God.

That is exactly what the blessed Lord did for us, He worked with us and multiplied what we had. We had no shortage of anything in our mission trip but had more than enough. To God be all the glory for the great thing He has done for us.

Our leadership seminar was a greatly blessed, our medical mission was a great success, 98 people received medical treatment; all the treatment they received was surgical. The crusades we conducted were blessed by the Lord, many came to the saving knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ and many were healed from sicknesses and diseases by the power of God. Lord blessed our Guimaras Island gift-giving mission to the children. 125 shoes were distributed to children. The Lord multiplied and blessed the little we had, He is El Shaddai, the God of more than enough.

Today you may have a little or nothing, yet, the Lord our God who is called El Shaddai, God of more than enough is able to bless you above and beyond.  The Lord said, and still saying ”Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh. Is anything too difficult for Me? (Jeremiah 32:27) The answer is no. The Lord Jesus said, John 14:14, “If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.” He said “Anything,” well, the living Jesus Christ, who is the same yesterday and today and forever is ready to change your situations for good.  Get ready.
